SIPHONOPHORA

SIPHONOPHORA is a sculptural light installation inspired by siphonophores - complex deep-sea organisms rarely seen by the human eye. They exist as a collective superorganism composed of many specialized units (zooids), all of which exist in a perfect symbiosis.

The installation translates this principle into a modular system of light elements capable of expanding and extending, reshaping the space around it. Like a living organism, the structure can grow, rearrange itself, and endlessly change its form.
SIPHONOPHORA draws attention to the natural logic of interdependence. Many of the processes that sustain life remain invisible - both in nature and in society. The installation approaches symbiosis as a model for systems in which individual parts exist through their relationships with one another, together forming a resilient whole.
