I hope this text finds you well.

I think that by being here, you already understand everything.
I don’t want to burden you with long explanations. I could tell you that this exhibition explores something, or brings something else into focus, but let’s be honest - neither you nor I want to read those words. We are here to share, to reveal, and to show parts of ourselves that we no longer want to keep hidden.

Yuliia, Ina, Ildzhan, Boyana, and Kalina carry something sincere and personal. Yet they are naturally cautious ; not ready to fully reveal themselves. Everything is here, but you need to come closer and look through the outer layer , because fully revealing yourself is difficult, and that is why we leave space between us and you: enough to invite you closer, while still feeling safe. I don’t know whether revealing ourselves makes us stronger. I don’t know whether trust makes us more vulnerable or more free. But I do know that we exist only when there is someone to whom we can show ourselves.
